The SPD-SX PRO Editor is available for download through the Roland Cloud Manager APP.
Follow the steps below.
- Install Roland Cloud Manager (Windows/macOS).
- Start the Roland Cloud Manager, and then click "Sign in."
-If you have not yet created an account, click "Sign up" to create an account. - Sign in to Roland Cloud.

Click "Hardware Instruments" > Drums & Percussion > SPD-SX PRO > Editor/Librarian > Download button

Note: If you can't see "Drums & Percussion," please click View Filter at the top of the screen and turn it off.

If it is displayed like this, you have already downloaded it. - Start SPD-SX PRO APP.
- Windows: Find the icon on the desktop, or click the Start icon (or press the Windows logo key on your keyboard) > Open the Roland folder > Click the SPD-SX PRO APP.
- macOS: Enter the application name in Spotlight to search for it. For more details, see View and open apps on Mac on Apple’s website.
- Connect the SPD-SX PRO's USB "COMPUTER" port to a computer with a standard USB A-B cable.
* Please use a commercially available USB cable that supports data transfer.
* It is recommended to connect the unit directly to a USB port on your computer instead of using a USB hub. - Click "Load data and start app" within the Editor.
