The E-X50 supports additional style packs available through Roland Cloud Manager.
The following are required.
- E-X50
- Roland Cloud Manager app (Windows, macOS)
- USB flash drive (32MB to 128GB)
Download Style Data
- Install the Roland Cloud Manager app and sign in to Roland Cloud.
If you do not have an account, click "Sign up" to create one. . - Download the style pack: click "Hardware Instruments" > "Keyboards" > "E-X50/30", then click the download icon for the style pack you wish to download.
A dialog box appears to specify the save location. Select a location and save the file. - Extract the downloaded file.
- Windows: Right-click the file and select "Extract All", then click "Extract".
- Mac: Double-click the file to unzip it.
- Copy the STY file(s) to the root directory of the USB flash drive (the top-level folder that appears when the drive is first opened).
- Connect the USB flash drive to the USB Device port on the E-X50.
Play a Style from a USB Flash Drive
- Press the [USB] button to enter the USB Style menu.
- Use the data dial to select the style you wish to play.
- Press the [START/STOP] button to start playback.
Press it again to stop.
Load a Style from a USB Flash Drive
- Press the [MENU] button to enter the function menu.
- Press the [USB] button to enter the USB menu.
- Use the data dial to select "LoadSTY", then press the [ENTER] button.
The cursor moves to the style file name (*.sty) in the lower menu. - Use the data dial to select a style file from the USB flash drive, then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the data dial to select a destination user style (301–330).
Note: If the selected user style has no data, "No File!" appears. If it already has data, its style name appears. - Press the [ENTER] button.
Note: If "Cover?" appears, press [ENTER] to overwrite, or [EXIT] to cancel.
"Load OK!" appears when loading is complete, and the display returns to the USB menu.
