TD-11: Formatting a USB Memory Drive

You'll need to format a USB drive in the TD-11 before performing a backup to it. Here's how to format it: 

CAUTION: Formatting a USB memory drive in the TD-11 permanently erases all data on the drive. Be sure to backup any information that you want to keep to your computer before formatting.  

1. Turn on the TD-11.
2. Insert the USB drive into the TD-11's USB drive port.
   NOTE: Please use a USB flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB or less.
3. Press MENU.
4. Press the cursor down button repeatedly until the SYSTEM icon appears.
5. Press the function 3[F3] button (SYSTEM).
6. Cursor down to highlight "USB Memory," and then press F3 (ENTER).
7. Cursor down to "Format," and then press F3 (ENTER).
8. Press F3 three more times.
