KATANA-50/100 (MKI series): How to check System Program needs update?

Please check the firmware version of the system working on your KATANA before downloading the archive file.

1. Turn the POWER switch ON while holding down the [TAP] button.
2. Set the [POWER CONTROL] switch to the "0.5W" position.
   
   
   • If the BOOSTER/MOD indicator is lit, the unit is at the most recent version, and no update operation is necessary.
   • If any indicators light up in any other condition, then carry out the update.

3. When you have finished verifying the version, TURN OFF THE POWER.
   * It's not necessary to perform the update if the product is already up-to-date.
4. After updating the firmware of your amp, after backing up your user patch data to the BTS Librarian, execute a Factory Reset on the amp. This will help realign the firmware if any data skew has occurred due to the update process.
