The following article will guide through setting up the GO:MIXER with an Android device.
APP INSTALLATION
- Install the "Camcorder for GO:MIXER" app onto the Android device from the Google Play Store.
CONNECTIONS
- Connect the audio source (instrument, mic, audio player, etc) to the GO:MIXER.
- Note: The GO:MIXER does not supply "Phantom Power" or "Plug-in Power". If you are using a condenser microphone that requires power, this will need to be supplied externally.
- Connect the tagged end of the supplied USB cable to the GO:MIXER and the other end to the Android device.
- Notes:
- Use the supplied USB cable only. 3rd pary USB cables are not compatible.
- Do not connect the included USB cable to any device other than this unit.
- Connect either headphones or speakers to the MONITOR OUT jack. If using speakers, turn them on and turn their volume up.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
- Turn the MASTER LEVEL
completely counter-clockwise (off).
- If using a microphone that has an ON/OFF switch, set this to ON.
- Raise the volume of the external device from the device itself (instrument, audio player, etc).
- Lower the volume of any unused inputs on the GO:MIXER.
- While playing audio from the external instrument or talking/singing into the mic, slowly raise the respective input knob clockwise until the "PEAK" light on the GO:MIXER illuminates only occasionally.
- Slowly raise the MASTER LEVEL
to hear the audio.
RECORDING
- In the "Camcorder for GO:MIXER" app, press the red record button to begin recording.
- Press the black stop button to end recording.
- Recordings can then be found in the "Gallery" app.
