TU-3, TU-3W: Factory Reset (Initialization)

The TU-3 and TU-3W retain the following settings in memory:

Factory Set Default State

• Tuning Mode: Chromatic
• Reference Pitch: 440 Hz
• Meter Display Pattern: Cent displayed
• Accu-Pitch Sign Function On/Off:  On

If necessary, the user can factory reset the TU-3 / TU-3W settings back to their factory-set condition. Factory Reset is helpful for troubleshooting any potential tuner issues.

Instructions for Factory Reset

1. While holding down the [MODE] button, turn ON the power (insert a 1/4" TS mono guitar/instrument cable into the tuner INPUT jack for power ON).
2. Press the [MODE] button within two seconds as the GREEN LIGHT at the center of the meter lights up.
   
   The GREEN LIGHT at the center of the meter flashes three times, and the TU-3 / TU-3W will be reset to its normal default state, with the original default factory settings restored.
   Note: If several seconds elapse without the MODE button being pressed, or if you press any button other than the MODE button, the TU-3 will return to its current state without restoring the factory default settings.
3. Disconnect the INPUT cable to power OFF, then reinsert the INPUT cable to power ON, continue with pedal usage.
