GR-55: Godin Tone Volume Guitar Control and Patch Volume with Exp Pedal Setup
1. Make sure to activate the HOLD feature in SYSTEM settings.
This will allow for EXPRESSION PEDAL SETTINGS to carryover one PATCH to the next.
2. Press [EDIT], use [PAGE < >] arrows to select SYSTEM PAGE MENU, use the [CURSORS and DIAL] to select PEDAL GK/CTL and press [ENTER],
use [PAGE < >] arrows to select HOLD PAGE, set ASSIGN HOLD to ON with [CURSORS and DIAL].
3. Set GK VOLUME for the GODIN:
Within the same SYSTEM MENU: SYSTEM > PEDAL GK/CTL > VOL PAGE adjust the GK VOLUME and change it to TONE VOLUME and set following parameters accordingly (unless different setup desired).
GK VOLUME: TONE VOLUME
PCM TONE 1: ON
PCM TONE 2: ON
MODELING TONE: ON
NORMAL PU: OFF
4. Set EXP for the EXPRESSION PEDAL:
Within the same SYSTEM MENU: SYSTEM > PEDAL GK/CTL > EXP PAGE adjust the EXPRESSION PEDAL and change it to PATCH VOLUME
(Leave this to PATCH SETTING if user would like to set EXP settings in the MASTER EXP MENU instead; this would allow for independent PATCH saved settings rather than SYSTEM GLOBAL settings).
This should allow for control of TONE VOLUME/SYNTH with the GODIN and PATCH VOLUME with the EXPRESSION PEDAL and the EXPRESSION PEDAL VOLUME position will carry over PATCH to PATCH.
