In MEMORY MODE while in PATCH view:
- Press [EDIT] to enter into EFFECT CHAIN view.
- Use KNOB 1 to select MOD1 icon and press [ON/OFF] to set the MOD1 to ON (visually see the icon change from bullet to pedal icon).
- Use KNOB 3 to select ROTARY from effects choices.
- Use KNOB 1 to select CTL icon and press [ENTER].
- Use KNOB 1 to select ASSIGN 1 icon and press [ENTER] to enter into ASSIGN 1 MENU PAGE 1.
- Use KNOB 1 to set ASSIGN: ON.
- Use KNOB 2 to set SOURCE: CURNUM.
(Current Number = current patch location you are on, for this example it is 1 because we are using Bank 50- Patch 1 or 50-1) - Use KNOB 3 to set MODE: TOGGLE.
- Press [PAGE >] to ASSIGN 1 MENU PAGE 2.
- Use KNOB 1 to set CATEGORY: M1 ROTARY.
- Use KNOB 3 to set TARGET: SPEED.
The ASSIGN 1 is complete, adjust any settings in ASSIGN 1 MENU PAGE 3 and 4 if necessary.
TEST ASSIGN 1 FUNCTIONALITY: ASSIGN 1 MENU PAGE 2
- Press [EXIT] twice back to EFFECT CHAIN view.
- Use KNOB 1 to select MOD1 icon and press [ENTER].
- Press SWITCH 1 (or Current Patch location), visual and audio check the M1: ROTARY SPEED is switching between FAST and SLOW.
- Use KNOB 2 to set RATE SLOW value and KNOB 3 to set RATE FAST value.
- WRITE/SAVE your PATCH changes and ASSIGN 1:
Press [EXIT + ENTER] to enter into the WRITE UTILITY menu
Use KNOB 1 to select WRITE, press [ENTER] three times to WRITE/save your new settings to the current PATCH location (for this example 50-1). - In MEMORY MODE, the M1: ROTARY SPEED FAST/SLOW parameter is now switchable by using SWITCH 1 (or Current Patch location).
To activate and deactivate the M1: ROTARY SPEED EFFECT in MANUAL MODE
In MANUAL MODE while in PATCH view:
- Press [EDIT] use KNOB 1 to select CTL icon and press [ENTER].
- Use KNOB 1 to select NUM1 icon and PRESS [ENTER] to enter into the NUMBER 1 switch menu.
- Use KNOB 1 to set FUNC/FUNCTION: MOD1.
- Use KNOB 2 to set MODE: TOGGLE.
- Use KNOB 3 to set ACTION: OFF->ON.
- Use KNOB 1 to select WRITE, press [ENTER] three times to WRITE/save your new settings to the current PATCH location.
