FA-06, FA-07, FA-08: Using Favorites

You can use the Favorites function in the FA-06, FA-07, and FA-08 to quickly call up your favorite / most-used sounds.

Note: This article applies to the FA-06, FA-07, and FA-08. If you are using a FANTOM-06, FANTOM-07, or FANTOM-08 and want an easier way to access your commonly used scenes, please refer to “FANTOM-06, FANTOM-07, FANTOM-08: How can I quickly recall frequently used or favorite scenes? To register a sound as a Favorite:

1. Select the sound (tone or studio set) that you want to register.
2. Press the [FAVORITE] button so it is lit.
   
    
3. Select the bank in which you want to register the favorite.
   1. Press the FAVORITE [BANK] button.
      
       
   2. Press a button ([0]–[9] button) to specify the bank number.
4. Hold down the [FAVORITE] button and press a button ([0]–[9] buttons) to specify the number in which the favorite will be stored.
   The sound has been registered.

To recall a Favorite sound that you have registered:

1. Press the [FAVORITE] button to make it light.
   Now you can use the [0]–[9] buttons to recall favorites.
2. Select the bank you want to recall.
   1. Press the FAVORITE [BANK] button.
   2. Press the button ([0]–[9] buttons) of the bank number that you want to select.
3. Use the [0]–[9] buttons to select a favorite.
   The favorite will be recalled.
