An "ERROR! CARD Read" message indicates that the memory card cannot be loaded or read properly. The following is troubleshooting information in the event that this message appears:
- Turn off the BR-864's power, remove the memory card and then reinsert the memory card. Instructions can be found on page 16 of the Owner's Manual.
- If a power supply is being used, be sure that it's a BOSS PSA-120S or PSA-120T power supply only--3rd party power supplies can cause the unit to not operate properly. If the correct power supply is being used, physically disconnect the power supply from the product and test with brand new, unused batteries for troubleshooting purposes--Alkaline batteries are recommended.
- Initialize the memory card:
