Use the following procedure to perform a FACTORY RESET and clear the internal memory SYSTEM and PATCH of the GT-1B and reload it's SYSTEM VERSION FACTORY SETTINGS.
CAUTION: A factory reset deletes all system settings and all user patches (U01–U99). Back up any data you want to keep using BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT-1B before proceeding.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the [1] knob to choose select “F. RESET” (FACTORY RESET), and press the [ENTER] button.
- Turn [1] KNOB to select "SYSTEM".
- Turn [3] KNOB to select "U99".
- Press [ENTER] button.
If you decide not to execute the factory reset, select “CANCEL” and press the [ENTER] button. - To execute the factory reset, use the [1] knob to select “EXECUTE,” and press the [ENTER] button.
Once the Factory Reset is complete, you are returned to the Play screen.
