TD-02K, TD-02KV: How can I connect a mobile device to this unit via Bluetooth® MIDI?

You can connect the TD-02 to your mobile device via Bluetooth by using the Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor (BT-DUAL) (sold separately).
-Note that the TD-02 does not offer Bluetooth functionality.

This method is useful when connecting the TD-02 to an app that supports Bluetooth MIDI (such as GarageBand).

Follow the steps below.

1. Turn on the power of the TD-02.
2. Place the mobile device that you want to connect close to the TD-02.
3. Hold down the pairing button on the BT-DUAL until the Bluetooth indicator blinks rapidly.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile device.
   -Do not tap “TD-02 MIDI” shown in the Bluetooth settings of your mobile device.
5. Launch the app that supports Bluetooth MIDI on your mobile device.
6. Open the Bluetooth MIDI settings screen in the app, and pair with “TD-02 MIDI”.
7. Press the [] (DRUM KIT) button to return to the DRUM KIT screen.
   Configure the MIDI settings as necessary. For details, refer to “MIDI Settings” in the TD-02 Owner’s Manual.
