TD-02KV, TD-02K: Which pads support cross-stick playing?

To use the cross-stick technique with the TD-02, connect a pad that supports rim shots, such as the PDX-8 or PDX-100. To check which pads support rim shots and the corresponding pad type for each pad, refer to the “PAD Type list” in the TD-02 Owner’s Manual.

Follow these steps to configure the pad:

1. Connect the pad to the “SN” plug on the dedicated connection cable.
2. Press the [MENU] button.
3. Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “PAD”, and press the [ENTER] button.
   The PAD screen appears.
   
4. Strike the connected snare pad to select it.
5. Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “Type,” and then use the [-] [+] buttons to select the pad type that matches the connected pad.
6. Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “XStickSens,” and then use the [-] [+] buttons to set the value from 1 to 10.
   Set to a value other than "OFF". Increasing this value causes the cross-stick sound to be heard even for a softer rim shot.
