The following article explains how to connect a keyboard or digital piano to the GO:MIXER PRO.
- Connect the GO:MIXER PRO's USB port to the phone or iPad using the included USB cable.
- Connect the audio outputs of the keyboard to the GO:MIXER PRO’s INSTRUMENT inputs.
- Connect headphones to the GO:MIXER PRO’s HEADPHONE/HEADSET port.
- Turn down all of the GO:MIXER PRO’s volume knobs, including the master volume, completely counterclockwise (off).
- Turn up the output volume on the keyboard to about 75% as a starting point.
- Set the GO:MIXER PRO’s instrument volume knob to the 12 o’clock position (pointing straight up).
- Begin playing the keyboard, then gradually turn up the master volume knob until you hear the desired level in your headphones.
If more volume is needed, increase the keyboard’s output volume and/or the GO:MIXER PRO’s instrument knob.
Note: If the GO:MIXER PRO’s PEAK indicator remains lit while playing, lower the instrument knob and/or the keyboard’s output volume. The ideal setting is when the PEAK light only illuminates at the loudest parts of your performance. - Start recording on your phone or iPad using an audio recording app.
When playing back the recording, sound will be heard through the headphones connected to the GO:MIXER PRO.
