Yes. Adjust each tuning bolt a little at a time, moving in order from one side to the opposite side as shown in the illustration.
- Adjusting the head tension affects only the head response. The pitch of the sound does not change as it would on an acoustic drum.
- Try to adjust the tension so that the head response is about the same as if you were playing an acoustic drum.
