Yes. You can play along with songs from your smartphone or PC using one of the following methods: connecting a cable to the MIX IN jack, connecting via USB, or connecting via Bluetooth (with the optional adaptor).
Connecting a cable to the MIX IN jack
- Connect a stereo mini-plug cable (commercially available) from your computer or mobile device to the MIX IN jack of the TD-02.
-Use audio cables that do not contain resistors. - Play a song on your computer or mobile device.
-Use your computer or mobile device to adjust the song volume.
Connecting via USB
The TD-02 supports USB audio. By connecting the TD-02 to your computer via USB, you can hear the song playing back on your computer through the TD-02, or send your drum performance to your DAW for recording. See “Using this Unit with a Computer or Mobile Device App” in the TD-02 Owner’s Manual for details.
-The USB driver must be installed to transmit and receive audio as USB audio.
Connecting via Bluetooth
To play back music wirelessly on your mobile device, connect the Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor (BT-DUAL) (sold separately). Refer to “Connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth” in the TD-02 Owner’s Manual for details.
-Note that the TD-02 does not offer Bluetooth functionality.
