The TD-02 sound module itself does not have built-in Bluetooth functionality. However, attaching the Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor (BT-DUAL) lets the Roland TD-02K and TD-02KV exchange Bluetooth audio and MIDI data with a computer or mobile device. Audio and MIDI use different signal flows.
- Bluetooth audio only transmits one way, from your computer or mobile device to the TD-02. To record your own performance, see "How can I record my performance?".
- Bluetooth MIDI transmits both ways (MIDI IN/MIDI OUT).
Bluetooth communication has some latency (time lag). The software-based sound engine may not respond optimally in real time, or you may need to adjust the latency setting on your DAW.
