The TD-02K and TD-02KV are designed for optimal performance with the combination of the TD-02 sound module and the included pads. You can use the pads to trigger a different sound module, with the following limitations.
- The PAD Type cannot be selected for the dedicated pads for the TD-02K and TD-02KV, such as the PD-4.
- You cannot mount a different sound module that’s different from the TD-02 onto the stand of the TD-02K or TD-02KV.
- Roland has not confirmed the operation of the TD-02K and TD-02KV pads with sound modules other than the TD-02.
- Use the trigger cables included (or which are compatible) with the sound module you wish to use.
- We do not guarantee the proper operation of this kit with a sound module manufactured by a different company.
