You can use the following methods to record your performance.
Use DAW software to record what you play (MIDI and audio)
If the TD-02 is connected to your computer via a USB cable (commercially available), you can transmit and receive MIDI and audio data. Set the MIDI track for recording or the audio track input setting to “TD-02”.
* A USB cable is not included. Use a commercially available USB cable that supports data transfer and USB 2.0.
* You must install a USB driver to transmit or receive USB audio. In the TD-02 system settings, set “USBDrv” to “VENDOR”, and install the USB driver after you’ve turned the power off and on again. You don’t need to install a USB driver for only transmitting/receiving MIDI data.
* Refer to the owner’s manual of your DAW for the MIDI track or audio track input settings.
Recording to an external recorder (audio)
Use the audio cable to connect the OUTPUT/PHONES jack of theTD-02to the input jack of your external recorder.
* Please use an audio cable that do not contain resistors.
* USB audio does not support parallel output.
The sound inputted to the MIX IN jack is not sent to the computer via USB audio. Connect as shown below if you want to record the audio from an external input, mixed with what you play on this kit.
*The audio interface and cables shown are examples only. Have ready an audio cable (without resistors) that’s appropriate for the audio interface you’re using.
*Note that this unit does not feature Bluetooth functionality on its own. The Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor BT-DUAL (sold separately) must be attached to use Bluetooth.
