If you're playing on the TD-02K/TD-02KV pads and you're not hearing any drum sounds, then the Local Control switch might be set to Off. Set it to On with the Steps below, which should help.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select "MIDI", then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select "Local Ctrl", then use the [-] [+] buttons to set it to "ON".

] (DRUM KIT) button to return to the DRUM KIT screen.
