Here's how to connect and setup the CY-13R-BK ride pad that's included with the TD-07KVX.
First confirm that the RD and CR2 cables are connected correctly and securely to the CY-13R-BK as shown in the illustration.
The CRASH 2 Usage setting should already be set from the factory to "RDB" in the TD-07, however you can use the Steps below to confirm it is set correctly.

The PAD screen appears.
3. Strike the CY-13R-BK (ride) pad to select the input.
4. Use the [<] [>] buttons until "CR2Usage" appears.

5. If necessary, turn the main dial to choose "RDB."
6. Press the DRUM KIT button when you're finished. The new setting is saved automatically.
NOTE: The Bell and Edge zones on the CY-13R are slightly less sensitive than the Bow zone. Be sure to use the neck/shoulder of the stick and give them a somewhat forceful strike. Tapping lightly with the tip of the stick may not produce efficient trigger results from the Bell and Edge.
Also, confirm the CY-13R is mounted correctly on the stand. The Roland stamped logo should be on the opposite side and legible from left-to-right from your playing view. If the logo is not in the correct position, the triggering results for each zone will not be accurate.
