SH-4d: The “EDITED” mark appears even when I simply play back a pattern.

The steps being played back may have been recorded as motion data. When you play back a pattern, the EDITED mark appears because the recorded motion data changes the parameter values.

You can check the motion data in STEP EDIT.
Follow the steps below.

1. Press the [EXIT] button a number of times until the [PATTERN] button goes dark.
2. Long-press the [1]–[16] button of the step you want to check to bring up the STEP EDIT screen. While holding down the [1]–[16] buttons, press either the [Λ] or the [V] button.
3. Press the [<] [>] buttons. “MOTION” appears at the middle of the bottom of the screen.
   The recorded motion data is shown.
