Using a compatible pedal such as the DP-2, it is possible to start or stop the integrated rhythms on the RD-88. For more information on the supported pedals for the RD-88 please see the RD-88 Owner's Manual.
- Connect a pedal to the FC1 or FC2 input of the RD-88
- Select a Scene
- Press [MENU], select SCENE EDIT and press [ENTER]
- Scroll down to select ASSIGN and press [ENTER]
- Use the [INC] [DEC] buttons to set Source to SCENE
- Use the [INC] [DEC] buttons to set FC1 or FC2 (depending on which input the pedal is connected to) to START/STOP
- Press [WRITE], select SCENE and press [ENTER] to save that setting to the Scene
You should now be able to start and stop the rhythm using the connected pedal
