The FR-4x supports the use of commercially available USB flash drives (up to 32 GB, formatted with the FAT or FAT32 file system, sold separately).
NOTE: Use a commercially available USB flash drive or a USB flash drive sold by Roland. However, we cannot guarantee that all commercially available USB flash drives will work with this unit.
Connecting a USB flash drive to the FR-4x allows you to:
- Import and export sets and user programs
- Add expansion sounds
- Playback WAV and MP3 files
- Record performances as audio data
