SH-4d: Restoring Factory Settings (Factory Reset)

To restore the SH-4d to its factory settings, refer to the Restoring the Factory Settings (Factory Reset) section of the manual or follow the procedure below.

1. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [16] button.
   The MENU screen appears.
2. Turn the [1] and [2] knobs to select “FACTORY RESET”, and then press the [ENTER] button to display the dialog screen.
   
3. Press the [>] button and select “OK”, and then press the [ENTER] button to execute the factory reset.
   NOTE: Never turn off the power while the “Executing...” message is shown and the unit is still processing.
4. Once the message “Completed. Turn the power off.” appears on the screen, turn this unit off.
