In this article we'll review how to Factory Reset your IR-200, to return to factory default settings.
Factory Reset options allow for a full reset for SYSTEM - to (Memory) 128.
However, the IR-200 user may alternatively reset specific sections:
- Only the SYSTEM settings,
- Only the MEMORY patch range: 1 - 128
- Only the USER IR for User Impulse Responses loaded to the unit to be initialized.

Instructions for IR-200 Factory Reset:
- Press the [MENU] button. You enter menu mode.
- Turn the [MEMORY] knob clockwise, navigate to page 3, locate Factory Reset, push Knob (2) below the “FACTORY RESET” indication on the screen.
- Follow the instructions shown on the Factory Reset screen.
Choose from reset range options:
- Use Knob (1) to set, FROM: SYSTEM (default) / USER IR / Memory patch 1-128
- Use Knob(3) to set, TO: 128 (default)/SYSTEM / USER IR

Sets the range you want to revert to their factory default settings.

*Examples of Factory Reset FROM: - TO: range choices below:
FROM: SYSTEM - TO: 128 (default) = Full reset of SYSTEM menu, USER IRs, and all Memories 1-128.
FROM: SYSTEM - TO: SYSTEM = Reset of only the SYSTEM/global menu settings.
FROM: USER IR - TO: USER IR = Reset of only the USER IRs, all USER IRs will be initialized, and erased.
FROM: 1 - TO: 128 = Reset of only the Memory patches 1-128.
FROM: 1 - TO: 1 = Reset of only Memory patch 1.
