For devices running Android 11 and above, Google requires all app system data and user data to be stored in a protected location. This location is not accessible with most device file browsers that are included on Android devices. Fortunately, there are two options to get around this limitation.
Option 1: Connect your device to a PC
You can easily access the protected files area by plugging your device into a PC. Follow the steps below.
Plug in your Android phone or Tablet to a Windows PC.
Check your phone's screen and grant storage access if required.
|3||From there, open an Explorer window and double tap on your phone.|
|4||Next, double tap on Internal Storage.|
|5||Now, go into the Android folder.|
|6||Then, go into the Data folder.|
|7||Scroll down until you see "jp.co.roland.zentracker" and double tap on that folder.|
|8||Now go into the Files folder.|
|9||And finally go into the Zentracker User folder.|
|10||You can find and copy your "Songs" and "Mixdowns" folders to your desktop or to any folder in your Internal Storage directory.|
Option 2: Install File Manger + on your device
You can download some 3rd party file managers and grant them full permission to the protected storage on your Android device. We'll be using File Manager + for this tutorial. You can download it here and follow the steps below.
|2||Open the app and follow the setup prompts to grant All Files Access.|
|3||Now in the Files+ App and double tap on the Android folder.|
Next tap on the Data folder.
Scroll down until you see "jp.co.roland.zentracker" and tap on it.
|6||Next, you will have to grant File Manger + access to edit this folder.|
Tap OK as instructed.
Then tap "Use this Folder" on the next screen.
|9||Now tap on the "files" folder.|
|10||And finally, the "Zentracker User" Folder.|
|11||Now you can tap and hold to select your "Songs" folder and "Mixdowns" folder.|
Tap the Copy button and you can now paste them in any folder on your internal storage.
