The TD-50X module contains a feature called "Fixed Hi-hat" which lets you apply a specific closed, half open, or open sound to the Hi-hat instruments without having to control them from the pedal. This can be useful while using a double bass drum pedal setup, and you want a closed (fixed) sound from the Hi-hat when taking your foot off the Hi-hat pedal. The Fixed HH feature can be enabled in each Kit. Here's how:
- Choose a Kit to edit.
- Press the [INSTRUMENT] button.
- Hit the Hi-hat pad to select it.
- Press [F2] to select the BASIC 1 tab.
- If necessary, press the PAGE [UP] button to select Page 1.
- Turn the [R1] knob to choose the desired Fixed setting;
- NORMAL
- PRESS
- CLOSE
- HALF 1
- HALF 2
- OPEN
- Press [EXIT] when you're finished.
- The new setting is saved in the Kit automatically.
