BRIDGE CAST has a loopback function available.
By assigning the output destination of the computer audio to any of the four channels of CHAT/GAME/MUSIC/SYSTEM, you can mix and adjust the audio volume of the computer and BRIDGE CAST on the BRIDGE CAST unit, and then return the mixed sound to the computer. It is convenient for mixing the audio from a streaming app or voice chat app on your computer with the audio feed to BRIDGE CAST, or mixing the microphone sound with the music playing on the computer and returning it to the computer to stream it.
The audio flow is as follows:
Loopback is disabled
Loopback is enabled
BRIDGE CAST: CHAT/GAME/MUSIC/SYSTEM
When you connect BRIDGE CAST to your computer, you can assign the output device of the app to CHAT, GAME, MUSIC, and SYSTEM. The following settings allow you to mix this audio with other sources, such as a microphone, on the STREAM MIX bus and then return it to the computer.
Follow the steps below:
*A dedicated driver must be installed to enable the loopback functionality. Install the dedicated driver before connecting the BRIDGE CAST to the computer via USB. For details on installing procedure, see "Installing the BRIDGE CAST app and driver" in the "BRIDGE CAST Owner's Manual".
- Set the USB connection setting switch to "PC".
- After powering on your computer, connect the USB ports of the computer and the BRIDGE CAST using the included USB cable (Type-C to Type-C or Type-C to Type-A).
- Turn on your external equipment.
- Launch the BRIDGE CAST app.
- On your computer, right-click the speaker icon at the right end of the taskbar. Then, click on "Sound Settings" (Windows 10) or "Sound Options" (Windows 11) to open the sound settings screen and make the following settings.

Output > Choose your output device: Default audio output destination (any of CHAT/GAME/MUSIC/SYSTEM) *"GAME (BRIDGE CAST)" is recommended.

Advanced sound options > App volume and device preferences: Audio output destination for each app (any of CHAT/GAME/MUSIC/SYSTEM)
*Some apps may require additional settings for themselves. Check the specifications of the application you are using.
*Select "GAME" for the app (game app, etc.) if you want to apply EQ to its sound.

Output > Choose your output device: Default audio output destination (any of CHAT/GAME/MUSIC/SYSTEM) *"GAME (BRIDGE CAST)" is recommended.

Adjust the volume for the respective input on the level meter screen of the BRIDGE CAST app or on the BRIDGE CAST unit.
In the BRIDGE CAST app, use the slider marked with the arrow (for the STREAM MIX bus volume) and the slider for each CH to adjust the volume.

When you operate on the BRIDGE CAST unit, turn on the bus selection button (control target: STREAM MIX bus) and use the knobs for the CH 1-4 buses that are lit in sync with it to adjust the volume. - Go to the setting of the app you want to use on your computer and select "STREAM (BRIDGE CAST)" as the audio input device.
