The user may select Memory patches 1 to 4, using the onboard MEMORY footswitch, each press will allow for switching the Memory patch, in increasing sequential order, however limited to only the four Memory Patches 1-4. *This is dependent on the "Memory Extent Max," the user may customize, and set the Memory Extent Max, please review the following to adjust the Memory Extent Max to allow access to Memory patches 5-127.
Further, if a user wants more MEMORY footswitch control up/down, increase/decrease, to access Memory patches 5-127 use an externally connected footswitch like our BOSS FS-6 or FS-7 A/B Dual footswitch, connected via 1/4" TRS stereo cable, to the CTL1,2/EXP jack on the DM-101.
See "Connecting External Pedals" below, also review other CTL 1/2 custom programming options.
The connected FS-6/FS-7 pedal will allow the user more footswitch control to navigate the Memory patch range 1-127 more efficiently, up/down or increasing/decreasing sequential order.
*Note: Make sure that the Memory Extent Max has been adjusted to allow for access to all Memory patches or the user preferred range.
When selecting Memory patches 5-127, via MIDI the user needs to connect an external MIDI device, and send Program Change messages (PC# 5-127).
- See "MIDI Settings" for details when connecting an external MIDI device.
Please review the DM-101 Reference Manual for more external FS and MIDI compatibility info.
