Gigcaster 5: Factory Reset (Initialization) Restoring the factory setting defaults

Here's how to return your Gigcaster 5 to the factory default settings:

1. On the MENU screen, select <SETUP> and then <GENERAL>.
   
2. To begin the factory reset process, select <EXECUTE> next to FACTORY RESET.
   You will now see the factory reset screen.
   
3. Choose the settings you wish to restore.
   On the factory reset screen, all the settings are selected by default.
   
   MIXER
   Channel 1, 2 settings
   INSTRUMENT–SOUND PAD channel settings
   OUTPUT settings
   Sound pad settings
   Effect pad settings
   Footswitch settings
   Expression pedal settings
   GA-FC settings
   
   EFFECT PATCH
   GUITAR - Effect patches for which the EFFECTS CATEGORY is set to “GUITAR”
   SING - Effect patches for which the EFFECTS CATEGORY is set to “SING”
   TALK - Effect patches for which the EFFECTS CATEGORY
   
   
4. Select <EXECUTE>
   A message to confirm appears.
   If you wish to cancel, press <NO>.
   
   
5. Select <YES>
   The factory reset is executed.
   Be sure that you do not switch off the power while the EXECUTING... message is on the display.
