JUPITER-X, JUPITER-Xm: How to Change the Model or Tone for Each Part

The Jupiter-X and Jupiter-Xm allow you to easily change the instrument model or tone assigned to each part in a scene.

Perform the steps below:

1. From any SCENE, press the [MODEL BANK] button.
   The [SCENE] button goes dark.
2. Press the [PART] button. Both the [MODEL BANK] and [PART] buttons are lit red.
3. Press any of the [PART SELECT] buttons [1] - [R] (rhythm), to select the desired Part.
4. Use the [UP] cursor button below Display 1 to highlight the current Model or Tone Category.
5. Use the [2] knob to scroll through and select a different synth Model or Tone Category.
6. Use the [DOWN] cursor button to highlight the Tone number.
7. Press [ENTER] to see the list of available Tones in the Model or Tone Category.
8. Use the [2] knob to select a Tone and press [ENTER] to confirm your selection.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 to change the Tones for the other Parts.
10. To save your changes, press [WRITE].
11. Follow the prompts on the screen to choose whether to save only the new Tone(s) to the Part(s), or to save the changes to a new Scene.
