Yes. By setting String Mute 1-6 (mute for strings) in the Part Edit, you can play different tones for each string. In each part, set mute to "OFF" for the string you want to play the tone and set it to "ON" for the ones you don't want to play.
Follow the steps below.
Example: Only the first string plays the tone of part 1.
- Press the PART [1] button.
The part edit screen for part 1 appears. - Use the [SELECT] knob to move the cursor to STRING.
- Use the [1] knob to select String Mute 2-String Mute 6, and set them "ON".
It eliminates the second through sixth strings from playing the tone of part 1.
