Gigcaster 8: How to Import Audio Files to the Sound Pads

Audio files can be imported from a computer to the Sound Pads using the Gigcaster 8 App for Windows or macOS. This is useful if you have your own music, jingles and sound files for the pads to play. The Gigcaster 8 includes 16 GB of internal memory for the Sound Pads.

Importing Audio Files to the Sound Pads

1. Install the "Gigcaster8 GCS-8 App" from the product download page:
   https://www.boss.info/global/products/gigcaster_8/downloads/
2. Connect the Gigcaster 8 to the computer with a USB cable.
3. Launch the Gigcaster 8 app.
4. In the app, click on "PAD" on the left panel.
    
5. Click on the SOUND tab.
   
6. Select the BANK of the pad to which you want to assign the audio file.
   
7. Select a desired pad. 
   
8. Click on FILE.
   
9. A window will appear to select the desired audio file. Click to select the desired audio file.
10. Click on APPLY to complete the import.
