The pickup dimensions of the GK-5 are as follows:
- Width (Long side): 102.3 mm
- Depth (Short side): 7.8 mm
- Max Height: 8.6 mm (not including double-sided tape)
- Height: 8 mm (not including double-sided tape)
Note: When checking the fit and position of the GK-5 divided pickup for your guitar, make sure to consider: the guitar pick guard, the double-sided tape thickness, the bridge pickup/pickup ring and bridge/bridge plate proximity, if space is adequate for the divided pickup thickness or depth.
Some guitars will be less suited for the GK-5. Allow for the divided pickup "yolks" (the two small rails under each string) to have adequate clearance to the bottom of the string, so that the string doesn't bottom out. There should be a 1 mm gap between the bottom of each string, and the top of each yolk, when the highest/last fret is fingered on the neck for each string.
A small coin of similar thickness 1 mm - 1.5 mm may be used as a feeler gauge for accurate measuring.
