JUPITER-X, JUPITER-XM: How to raise or lower the volume of a Part using an expression pedal without affecting other Parts

You can control the volume of one specific Part without affecting the other Parts. Use only compatible expression pedals: Roland EV-5, BOSS EV-30, connected to the CTRL connector.

1. From any Scene, press the [PART] button.
2. Select the Part you wish to edit by pressing one of the PART SELECT buttons [1]-[4] or [R].
3. Press the [MENU] button.
4. Use the [∧] [∨] PAGE buttons to select SYSTEM and press [ENTER].
5. Select CONTROLLER and press [ENTER].
6. Use the [∧] [∨] PAGE buttons to locate the Ctrl Source parameter.
7. Use knob [2] to set the value to SYS if you would like this setting to be applied globally to ALL Scenes - this will override a setting made in an individual Scene.
8. Use knob [2] to set the value to SCENE if you would like the setting made in each individual Scene to be applied to the Ctrl pedal.
9. Below Ctrl Source, set the value of Ctrl to VOL: CC07.
10. Press the [MENU] button.
11. Select EDIT and press [ENTER].
12. Select SCENE EDIT and press [ENTER].
13. Use the [<] or [>] PAGE buttons to navigate to the SCENE COMMON EDIT screen.
14. Use the [∧] [∨] PAGE buttons to locate the Ctrl parameter.
15. Use knob [2] to set the value to VOL: CC07.
16. Use the [<] or [>] PAGE buttons to navigate to the SCENE PART EDIT screen.
17. Locate Rx Volume and set the value to ON.
18. Use the [<] or [>] PAGE buttons to navigate to the SCENE ZONE EDIT screen.
19. Locate Rx CtrlPdl and set the value to ON.
20. Press [WRITE], select SCENE and press [ENTER] to save your new settings.
