Gigcaster 8: How to Receive Bluetooth Audio From a Mobile Device

The Gigcaster 8 can receive Bluetooth audio from a mobile device onto the dedicated Bluetooth Channel . This is useful for playing music, jingles or sound files.

Note: The Gigcaster 8 does not have a function to output audio to a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones/headset.

1. Press the [ ] button on the top panel.
2. Touch <INPUT>.
   
3. Place the mobile device that you want to connect near the Gigcaster 8.
4. Touch <PAIR>. The Gigcaster 8 enters a pairing mode for the mobile device to select.
   
5. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile device.
   Note: Please refer to the mobile device's instructions for connecting Bluetooth.
   
6. Tap “GCS-8 Audio” that is shown in the Bluetooth device screen of your mobile device.
   • When the connection has been established, the name of the connected device is shown on the Gigcaster 8's screen.
   • When pairing succeeds, “GCS-8 Audio” is added to the list of “Paired Devices” on your mobile device.
7. Begin playing music or audio on your mobile device.
8. The mobile device's Bluetooth audio will be received on the Gigcaster 8's Bluetooth Channel .
