The Gigcaster 5 can receive Bluetooth audio from a mobile device onto the dedicated Bluetooth Channel. This is useful for playing music, jingles or sound files.
Note: The Gigcaster 5 does not have a function to output audio to a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones/headset.
Setting Up Bluetooth
- Press the [
] button on the top panel.
- Touch <INPUT>.
- Place the mobile device that you want to connect near the Gigcaster 5.
- Touch <PAIR>.
The Gigcaster 5 enters a pairing mode for the mobile device to select. - Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile device.
Note: Please refer to the mobile device's instructions for connecting Bluetooth. - Tap “GCS-5 Audio” that is shown in the Bluetooth device screen of your mobile device.
- When the connection has been established, the name of the connected device is shown on the Gigcaster 5's screen.
- When pairing succeeds, “GCS-5 Audio” is added to the list of “Paired Devices” on your mobile device.
- Begin playing music or audio on your mobile device.
The mobile device's Bluetooth audio will be received on the Gigcaster 5's Bluetooth Channel.
