With the following combination of the version of BTS for KATANA-AIR and the system program of KATANA-AIR, "COMMUNICATION ERROR" is displayed, and the connection cannot be established. Also, some features are not enabled for certain version combinations.

To find the current version, follow the steps below.
System program version for KATANA-AIR and KATANA-AIR EX
- Turn all knobs on the top panel fully counterclockwise.
- Turn off the amplifier.
- While holding down the [CH A] and [CH B] buttons, turn on the power.
- When all buttons except [POWER] blink twice slowly, release your finger from the [CH A] and [CH B] buttons.
All buttons except [POWER] blink twice rapidly. - Check the lit state (red/green) of the [BST/MOD] button, [DELAY/FX] button, and [REVERB] button.
R: lit red, G: lit green, O-FL: blinking orange
If it shows the latest version, no update is necessary. - Hold down the [POWER] button to turn off the power.
Version of KATANA-AIR for BTS App
- Start the app.
- Tap SYSTEM > VERSION.
The version is displayed.
