Yes, it is supported. You can connect the GAIA-2 directly to an AIRA Link USB port on the MX-1 with a USB cable.
*The GAIA-2 does not support power supply via AIRA Link.

Set the USB driver mode to "VENDOR" and turn the power off and on again before you connect it to the MX-1.
