No. The Roland GAIA-2 does not support connecting a MIDI keyboard to the USB COMPUTER port (USB Type-C®). This port is designed to connect the GAIA-2 to a computer or mobile device, for example for DAW use, audio/MIDI data transmission, or AIRA LINK.
To connect a MIDI keyboard or other external MIDI controller, use the USB MEMORY/EXT DEVICE port (USB A) instead.
Notes: The GAIA-2 can power a MIDI controller connected to this port if its current consumption is 500 mA or less.
Set the SYSTEM MIDI parameter "Remote Kbd" to "USB MEM" when connecting an external MIDI keyboard.
