Yes. IR data created on third-party devices or apps can be loaded into the BOSS IR-2. For IR compatibility specifications, see step 3 under "Loading IR data into the IR-2" in the IR-2 IR Loader Owner's Manual.
Use the dedicated IR-2 IR Loader app (macOS/Windows) to load IR data (up to 11 User IR slots) into the unit. Download the app from the BOSS website: https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/ir-2/updates_drivers/
Note: IR slots on the IR-2 are shared between presets and user data. Loading IR data overwrites the preset IR slot. To reset a specific slot to its factory setting, use the IR Loader app: go to MENU > SLOT RESET, select the slot, and click RESET. See "Other functions" in the IR-2 IR Loader Owner's Manual for details.
