The following steps restore the WAZA-AIR or WAZA-AIR BASS to its factory settings.
Note: A factory reset erases all user patches, Bluetooth connections, and WL-T connection settings. Back up any user patch data to the BOSS TONE STUDIO app Librarian before performing a factory reset.
- Press and hold the Up and Down buttons, then turn on the power switch.
After a short interval, the version information is displayed. Tilt the Bluetooth multi-function button to the minus side down for more than three seconds.
- When both the Bluetooth indicator (blue) and the wireless indicator (white) are flashing slowly at the same time, release the button.
- Tilt the Bluetooth multi-function button to the minus side down for more than three seconds one more time.
- When the Bluetooth indicator (blue) and the wireless indicator (white) flash slowly in alternation, release the button.
Note: Never turn off the power while the factory reset is in progress.
The Bluetooth indicator and the wireless indicator (white) go dim. The device then transitions to normal mode, and the Bluetooth indicator flashes slowly.
- Turn the power off and back on to finalize the factory reset.
The device restarts with the default settings.
