Restoring the GAIA-2’s settings to their original factory default settings is referred to as “Factory Reset.”
Note: When you execute this operation, all saved settings including the sound parameters will be lost. If you will later need the current settings, be sure to use the backup function to save the current settings before you restore the factory settings. See “Backup” in the GAIA-2 Reference Manual.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Turn the [VALUE] knob to select "Utility", and press the [VALUE] knob.
The UTILITY screen appears. - Turn the [VALUE] knob to select "Factory", and press the [VALUE] knob.
The FACTORY RESET screen appears. - Make sure "Reset User Data" and "Reset System Date" are checked.
Note: If you do not want to delete your registered Roland Cloud license data, make sure "Remove License" is unchecked. - Turn the [VALUE] knob to select "EXEC", and press the [VALUE] knob.
"Are you sure?" appears. - Turn the [VALUE] knob to select "OK", and press the [VALUE] knob.
- Turn the power off, and then turn it on again.
