VR-730: How to save the expression pedal assignment on VR-730

Originally in the VR-730, the pedal settings were saved with the System settings and were a global setting.

With the latest OS update 1.12 the pedal settings have been shifted from the “system memory area” to the “registration memory area” so it is now possible to have different pedal settings for each Registration in the VR-730, so when you now make pedal settings, you will need to save the Registration. 

1. Hold down one of the 1–4 buttons until the Registration Write screen appears.
2. Use the CURSOR ^/v buttons and the [VALUE] dial to select the store-destination bank and registration number.
3. Specify a name for the registration using the Cursor ^/v buttons and the Value Dial.
4. Press the ENTER button.
   Your settings will be stored in the selected registration.
