The BP-1W can accept input signals from devices other than electric guitar, such as a microphone or keyboard. Note the following before connecting.

| Input level | The nominal input level for the INPUT jack is -20 dBu. The sound may distort if this level is exceeded. If the input device outputs at a low level, insert an amp, mixer, or similar equipment into the signal chain if needed. |
| Input volume adjustment | The input sensitivity cannot be adjusted on the BP-1W. Adjust the volume using the input device. |
