GX-100: How do I load IR (Impulse Response) data?

IR data can be loaded into the BOSS GX-100 using the IR LOADER feature in BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-100 (BTS) version 2.0.0 or later.

Note: IR Loader is no longer available as a separate download.

Download the latest versions of BTS, the USB driver, and the GX-100 System Program from the UPDATES & DRIVERS page before proceeding. https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/gx-100/updates_drivers/

1. Launch BTS on your PC.
2. Load the IR data into the GX-100.
   Refer to "Loading IR data into the GX-100 (IR LOADER)" section in the manual.
3. On the GX-100, touch the <EFFECTS> icon or press the [EFFECTS] button to open the effect chain screen.
   
   The effect chain screen is shown.
   
4. Select either AIRD PREAMP 1 or AIRD PREAMP 2. Up to two AIRD PREAMPs can be placed in the effect chain.
5. Use the PAGE [<][>] buttons to select Page 4.
6. Turn knob [3] to select SP TYPE (Speaker Type).
   The 16 user slots for loaded IRs are located at the end of the list.
