TD-30: Local Control

Here's how to turn Local Control On or Off in the TD-30. Keep this setting turned on when using the TD-30 as you normally would (Triggering its built-in sounds). If you're recording MIDI data from the TD-30 onto MIDI tracks or triggering sounds in software, you may want to turn Local Control "OFF."  

1. Press SETUP.
2. Press F5 to select the "B" tab.
3. Press F3 (MIDI).
4. Press F2 (GLOBAL).
5. Cursor to "Local Control," and then turn the dial to choose "OFF."
6. Press EXIT when you're finished. The new setting is saved automatically.
