TM-2: Adjusting the Display Contrast and Brightness

It's possible to adjust the TM-2's display contrast and brightness. Doing so can be helpful when viewing the display in various lighting conditions.

Here's how:

1. Turn on the TM-2.
2. Press and hold the SHIFT button, and then press the INST [SETUP] button - ("TRIGGER SETUP" appears in the display). 
3. Release SHIFT and INST, and then press the right arrow button (>) once to select the SYSTEM menu. 
4. Press the + button (ENTER) - "Contrast" appears. 
5. Press the + or - button to adjust the contrast.
6. Press (>) again - "Brightness" appears.
7. Press + or - to adjust the brightness.
8. Press INST twice when you're finished. The new settings are saved automatically.

Tip: If you're not able to see any characters in the TM-2's display after powering it on, the following button presses will get you to the contrast menu:  

1. Turn on the TM-2.
2. Press and hold SHIFT and press INST.
3. Release SHIFT and INST, and then press the right arrow button once (>).
4. Press (+).
5. Press (+) again several times until the characters appear in the display.
