GT-5: MIDI Program Map Settings

The GT-5 has a MIDI Program Map which allows the user to customize the internal
Patches that will be called up when the unit receives Bank change and Program
change messages. Use the following procedure to set up the MIDI Program Map:

1) Press UTILITY repeatedly to display "4. MIDI."
2) Use PARAMETER < / > to display "MIDI Map Select."
3) Use the VALUE dial to change the status from "Fix" to "Prog."
4) Use PARAMETER < / > to display "MIDI Program Map."
5) Use PARAMETER < / > to move the cursor to the receive bank change number
"B#."
6) Use the VALUE dial to select the receive bank change value "0, 1 or 2."
7) Use PARAMETER < / > to move the cursor to the receive program change
number "P#."
8) Use the VALUE dial to select the receive program value "1 through 128."
9) Use PARAMETER < / > to move the cursor to the Patch number "1 - 1 - 1."
10) Use the VALUE dial to select the Patch number that will be called up by
the received bank and program change message.
11) Repeat steps 5 - 10 to make additional MIDI Program Map settings.
12) Press EXIT to return to the main menu.
